A fun weekend of racing in the books at the @bitco A fun weekend of racing in the books at the @bitcoin_chiangmai Trail Race by Run For Freedom. Great seeing so many familiar faces of the Chiang Mai Trail Tribe at the event, and even grabbing some podium places! 💪💚 The event itself was fun, and despite being in our backyard, there were some trail sections that I hadn't been on. For a new event, it was great overall. Great atmosphere, very nice event setup, good post-race food, and a course that was a lot of fun with a lot of variation. But there is also definitely room for improvement though. Because while fun, the course had way too many bottlenecks that really weren't fun for anyone. The route will be a 8km loop with about 300m of elevation. This weekend we're heading to Wat Ban Pong in Hang This weekend we're heading to Wat Ban Pong in Hang Dong for a nice 8km run with about 350m of elevation, a good amount of which will be covered while climbing the stairs to the White Pagoda. Meeting at 07.00am at the parking in front of Wat Ban Pong, this is the correct location on Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/ErKenUshr3oYviCP9 The route has some elevation, and the route will cover everything from technical sections to some road. If the weather is our friend we will be rewarded with some amazing views along the way. If you join, make sure to bring water. As always, it is not a race, the pace will be slow and easy. Also, this event is completely free and informal, which means you are responsible for yourself.
